Christmas Bucket List

Christmas Bucket List

Hopefully you feel well fed, well rested and got a little shopping done this weekend! Last night we attended our holiday favorite – The Christmas Carol – at the Playhouse in the Park downtown. It’s become quite the tradition to go every year and it feels like a holiday kick off of sorts. I love to go early in December because it gets me in the holiday mood. This time we took Josh’s family and I think they really enjoyed it!

In honor of December 1st, I thought I’d create a Christmas Bucket List to help me remember all those fabulous ideas I had at the beginning of the holiday season that seem to slip my mind after things get busy! I think I speak for all of us when I say that my Pinterest boards are filled with crafts and recipes that I’m always going to try but never get around to.

So here is my Christmas Bucket List. Hopefully I’ve inspired you to create one for yourself and make the most of this special time with family and friends. Now off to make those gingerbread pancakes for brunch!

  1. See The Christmas Carol at Playhouse in the Park – CHECK!
  2. Make gingerbread cookies & dark chocolate peppermint brownies
  3. Decorate my apartment and put up my tree (actually decorate my balcony this year) – CHECK!
  4. Sign up for Camera Camp and actually learn how to use this wonderful camera that I have… and take lots of photos!
  5. See The Nutcracker Ballet with my mom
  6. Annual Bake Day with my girl friends
  7. Stick to my green smoothie a day challenge… this may be difficult!
  8. Make a holiday themed brunch with gingerbread pancakes
  9. Go shopping with my mom in Columbus
  10. Make an ornament to commemorate our engagement year
  11. Bake a pecan pie from scratch
  12. Make hot cocoa and drive around to see the lights
  13. Go ice skating downtown
  14. Make a cranberry and popcorn garland for my tree
  15. Make my own gift tags this year (and create a printable to post!)
  16. Have a bake day with my grandma and mom and learn their baking tricks!
  17. Listen to Christmas music at every chance!
