This suite. I’d have to say it’s my favorite navy letterpress and gold foil wedding invitation suite I’ve designed so far. Lisa and Charlie were such a fabulous couple to work with. Every detail of their lakeside Michigan wedding was carefully planned and coordinated, and their wedding invitation suite and day-of details were no exception. Lisa loved the Madison suite from my Collection, but wanted to make it her own and add a few luxe details. I used a beautiful shimmer champagne paper for their invitation, response card and information cards, and a soft blush pink shimmer paper for their monogram card. We even customized the gold foil color to match the gold glitter belly band which tied everything together. Lisa chose to have her guest addresses done in gold calligraphy but we foil printed all her return addresses. The gold foil on her navy envelopes looked absolutely stunning!
After her invitations were on their way to her guests, I designed several day-of paper goods for her ceremony and reception including gold foil and navy letterpress wedding programs and menus, both on the same champagne and blush pink shimmer paper we used for their wedding invitation suite.
It’s always enjoyable for me to see how each of my brides customize my Collection invitation suites. I love hearing their ideas for paper colors and options that I may have never thought of before.
