Neutral Nursery Reveal

I’m overjoyed to share a few photos of our most heartfelt home project yet. Designing Lilly James’ nursery was the highlight of my pregnancy. These precious shots were from our shoot with my dear friend Renee Lemaire Photography when LJ was just a wee 7 days old. Renee captured some sweet little photos of the nursery details, including shelves above her reading nook custom made by my husband Josh, and Lilly’s custom monogram. You know she had to have her own! I designed her monogram and had it printed on acrylic, added a soft white silk ribbon bow to the top, and hung it in a frame near her crib. The watercolor paintings of Pooh, Piglet, Hunka Munka & Peter Rabbit above her crib are hand painted by my mama. She did an amazing job and we will cherish them forever.

We found her changing table / dresser at a vintage shop in Pennsylvania and my in-laws repainted it and added new hardware. It has the most beautiful marble top and is the perfect height for changing a wiggly newborn!

A few other details that I love – The pillow Josh’s aunt made with samples of his grandmother and great-grandmother’s quilts, a refinished side table that was Josh’s grandmother’s and a little bear lamp and toy box that were in my nursery.

Oh and I can’t forget the wallpaper! Jane Churchill’s Hundred Acre Wood design was absolutely perfect for the neutral storybook theme we were going for. Hope you enjoy!
