We are back from our absolutely amazing wedding and honeymoon trip! It truly was a fairy tale day and we couldn’t have asked for a better event to celebrate with our closest friends and family. We are so thankful for all the love and support we’ve received throughout all the planning and the wedding weekend.
It has been a wonderful last few weeks starting out our lives together. We’ve moved boxes, unpacked, repacked and decorated. I think we are finally getting in the swing of married life 🙂 Although we are having a blast starting your our new lives together and getting our condo perfect for two, there’s still a little part of me that wishes I could re-live the entire weekend. So much of my time for the past 9 months has been consumed with wedding planning of some sort and now it feels weird to not be preparing for the big day. My MOHs said that the day would be a blur and boy were they right! We can’t wait to get all of our photos and our video so we can re-live the day all over again. I’m sure many of you can relate!
I haven’t shared our save the dates and engagement photos yet on my blog so I thought it would be fun to start doing Wedding Wednesday posts to share the details from our planning up to the big day. It feels like so long ago when we took these photos! We wanted to skip the traditional engagement session and create something unique to us. Josh is an avid fly fisherman (slightly obsessed!) so we thought it would be nice to feature that in our photos. The sport is really a beautiful art. There are so many more but these were some of our favorites. As always, our friends from Style & Story Creative (formally Ben & Les photography) did a fab job.
Check out that snazzy looking man – that’s my husband.
